About these terms

These terms apply to RemoScreen: the web console at app.remoscreen.com, our website, and the RemoScreen desktop and mobile apps (together, “RemoScreen”). RemoScreen is provided by HONCO PRIVATE LIMITED, 3/31, Chitrakoot, Gandhi Path, Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302021, India (“we”, “us”).

By creating an account or using RemoScreen you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use RemoScreen for an organisation, you agree for it and confirm that you may.

Who can use RemoScreen

You must be at least 18 years old and able to make a binding contract under Indian law.

Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address, so anyone who can read that mailbox can sign in to your account: keep it secure. One account belongs to one email address.

You are responsible for what is done through your account and your desks. Tell us at once at [email protected] if you think someone else is using them. You can delete your account at any time.

Using RemoScreen responsibly

RemoScreen lets one person see and control another person’s computer, so these rules matter. You must:

• connect only to computers you own or are clearly allowed to access, and only as far and as long as that permission goes;
• use unattended access only on computers you own or manage, and keep their passwords safe;
• tell the person you are helping who you are and what you are doing.

You must not:

• use RemoScreen for fraud or scams, including fake technical support or refunds, or to get anyone to reveal banking details, codes or passwords;
• access, copy or change anyone’s data or accounts without permission, or watch or track a person without their knowledge;
• send malware, or files or messages that are illegal, abusive or infringe someone else’s rights;
• get around a host’s consent, the permissions they gave, plan or rate limits, or the Free plan’s ads;
• attack, overload or probe the service, try to break its security, or guess desk IDs to find desks;
• resell or rent RemoScreen without our written agreement.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and report illegal activity to the authorities.

What RemoScreen does

RemoScreen connects two devices directly. The host decides each time whether to accept a request and what to allow, and either side can end a session at any time. We do not receive or store the content of sessions (see the Privacy Policy), so we cannot recover a chat, a file or anything shown in a session.

RemoScreen is a preview (beta) release. Features may change, and some networks and devices cannot connect yet; Support lists the known limits.

Plans, ads and payments

• Free has no time limit and is paid for by ads. Before your first session you accept the ad terms: a banner at the top of the console and apps and, while you control another computer, a 10-second ad every 5 minutes during which your control pauses. You must not block, skip or tamper with ads; a session whose ad break is not completed ends.
• Paid plans (Solo, Team and Enterprise) have no ads and higher limits. Prices are in Indian rupees and exclude GST, which is added at checkout. Each plan’s limits are those shown on our pricing page and in the app.
• Paid plans are subscriptions billed through Razorpay. They renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Billing; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for and then moves to Free. Nothing is deleted when it does.
• If a payment fails, your paid features stay on for 7 days while Razorpay tries again; after that the account moves to Free.
• Payments are not refunded automatically. If you think you were charged in error, write to us within 30 days of the charge. We refund where the law requires it or where we agree a refund is fair.
• Deleting your account cancels its subscription at once, without an automatic refund for the rest of the period.
• If we change a price, the new price applies only from a renewal after we have told you, and you can cancel before then.
• Enterprise plans are agreed with us in writing; that agreement wins where it differs from these terms.

Your content

What you share in a session (screens, files, chat, clipboard text and audio) stays yours, and you are responsible for it. You give us no rights to it, and we do not receive it. Keep your own copies of anything important.

Our software

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the RemoScreen apps and console under these terms. RemoScreen, its name, logo and software belong to us or our licensors. Do not copy, modify or redistribute the apps except as the law allows.

You may need to update an app to keep using the service: an outdated app can stop connecting (for example, the Free plan needs an app that shows ad breaks).

App stores

If you got RemoScreen from Apple’s App Store or Google Play, that store’s terms also apply to the download, including, for the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google, and they are not responsible for RemoScreen or its support.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep RemoScreen running, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop offering RemoScreen, we will tell you in advance and refund any paid period you have not used.

Disclaimer

As far as the law allows, RemoScreen is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, such as fitness for a particular purpose.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or interrupted business, or for what another person does in a session you accept. Our total liability for any claim about RemoScreen is limited to the greater of what you paid us for RemoScreen in the 12 months before the claim and ₹1,000.

Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

If a claim is made because of your use

If someone makes a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law while using RemoScreen, you will cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim.

Ending

You can stop using RemoScreen and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other people, and we will tell you why unless the law or someone’s safety prevents it. The parts of these terms that by their nature should last (your content, the disclaimer, the limits on liability and the law that applies) continue after.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its effective date and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they apply. If you keep using RemoScreen after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to resolve the problem.
