How can we help?
Find an answer in the Help center, or write to us.
Write to us
Email [email protected]. It helps to tell us:
- your desk ID, the nine-digit number RemoScreen shows for this desk;
- your device and system, for example Windows 11, Ubuntu 24.04 or Chrome on Android;
- whether you use the web console or an app, and which version you downloaded;
- what you did and what happened, with a screenshot if you can.
Never send us a sign-in code, an unattended password or payment details.
When we reply
We usually reply within 2 working days (Monday to Friday, Indian Standard Time). Reports of abuse and security problems are read first.
RemoScreen is made by HONCO PRIVATE LIMITED in Jaipur, India.
Help center and apps
Step-by-step answers for starting, approving, controlling and ending a session, unattended access, trusted devices and connection problems are in the Help center.
The apps available today, and how to install them, are on Downloads.
Signing in
RemoScreen signs you in with a 6-digit code sent to your email; it expires after 10 minutes. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder, wait a minute and ask for a new one (up to 5 an hour).
Nobody from RemoScreen will ever ask you for your code. Anyone who does is trying to take over your account.
Known limits
RemoScreen 1.0 has these limits today:
- there is no relay server yet, so the two devices must be able to connect directly; some office, school and mobile networks block that and the session cannot connect;
- files can be up to 100 MB each, one at a time, on every plan;
- a browser can share its screen, chat and files, but cannot be controlled with keyboard and mouse or share its clipboard: remote control needs the RemoScreen desktop app on the computer being helped;
- unattended access works only with the Windows desktop app while its owner is signed in and the PC is unlocked, or the Linux desktop app in a logged-in X11 session; not at the sign-in or login screen, and not on Wayland;
- the iPhone and iPad app can connect to and control other computers, but cannot share its own screen.
Report abuse or a scam
If someone connected to your computer without your permission, or used RemoScreen to trick you:
- End the session with Stop, or close RemoScreen. Disconnect from the internet if you need to.
- If unattended access is on, turn it off in the desktop app’s Settings, remove trusted devices and change its password.
- Change the passwords of your important accounts, and call your bank at once if you shared payment or banking details.
- In India, report fraud at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930.
- Email [email protected] with the desk ID and name of the desk that connected (your History shows them), the date and time, and what happened. We look into every report.
RemoScreen will never phone you out of the blue, ask you to install RemoScreen or ask to connect to your computer unless you contacted us first.
Report a security issue
Found a vulnerability? Email [email protected] with the subject “Security”, the steps to reproduce it and what it affects.
Please test only with your own accounts and devices, do not access other people’s data or disrupt the service, and give us time to fix the problem before you tell others. We will acknowledge your report and keep you updated. We do not run a paid bug bounty.
